What each status means

Individual Pledge Signatory

A person makes a personal commitment to the published pledge, completes the required identity verification and review, and receives an approved individual record. Employer affiliation does not extend that status to the employer.

Company Pledge Signatory

An authorized representative signs for a company or organization. Company identity, the representative’s authority and identity, the pledge and applicable requirements are reviewed. That signature does not automatically create a personal signatory record.

Recognized Participant

Available to companies and organizations, including sole proprietors applying for their business operations. Recognition requires the applicable role-specific evidence and review beyond the pledge. Individuals cannot apply for personal Recognized Participant status.

Dalilah Standard Company

An additional company designation beyond Pledge Signatory and Recognized Participant. The proposal requires current underlying recognition, enhanced review for each business role, current TWIC evidence for every Accountable Principal, corrective-action verification and an independent award decision.

The distinction is removable. The proposed public record identifies pending, current, did-not-meet, removed and other accurately defined statuses. No award is made by signing a pledge or completing a checklist.

Governing Council member

An individual appointed after the required qualifications, disclosures, identity verification, signed Council pledge, Council vote and publication authorization. This is unpaid advisory and program-review service, not a corporate director or officer appointment. It does not recognize the member’s employer.
